What Is a Sitemap?
A sitemap is a scheme of your website that helps search engines find, crawl, and index all of your website’s content. The main purpose of a sitemap is to tell search engines which pages on your site are most important.
Why are Sitemaps Important?
Google, Yahoo, Bing, and other search engines use your sitemap to find various pages on your site.
How to Create a Sitemap?
- In the Site Editor, click Settings on the left sidebar:
- Click the Search Engines button to open the Search Engines Settings menu:
- Select Sitemap.xml:
A link to the Sitemap will be displayed in the sidebar if the website is published.
- To open the page in a new tab, click the link below
- To copy the link to the clipboard, click the icon on the right:
After you publish the website, your Sitemap.xml will be created automatically.
Please Note: If the site has not been published yet, you will see the message on the sidebar:
