Product Sort Order

Determine the order of your products that are displayed in your store. That way items will be presented in a specific order you need. In addition, your clients can still change the sort order to their preferred view.

Changing Default Product Sort Order Storewide

To modify the default order settings:

1. Select Settings → General → Cart & Checkout.
2. In the Catalog Settings section, locate the Default Products Sort Order settings.
3. Change it to your preferred sort order:

Select from a few sorting options:

• Manual, based on your own preferences
• Newest product, based on the date that the product was created
• Highest or lowest product price
• Product title, in alphabetical order or reverse alphabetical order

Reorder Products within a Specific Category

To reorder products in a category:

1. From Settings → General → Cart & Checkout.
2. In the Catalog Settings section, locate the Default Products Sort Order dropdown.
3. Choose the “Defined by store owner” setting.
4. Then go to Catalog → Categories.
5. Click the desired category.
6. Go to the Category products tab.
